The Rapid Lean Manager - 1 Day
How do successful multi-site businesses go about improving? How do they drive their Improvement Strategy to deliver significant benefits year on year? This 1 day course is aimed at managers and key stakeholders in any improvement journey. It explores the various strategies available, their pitfalls and successes and what can be learned from other businesses and their experiences. It will also explore how to kick-start improvement to get rapid results, whether the business is just embarking on continuous improvement or well on the path but perhaps wants a fresh perspective. Root Cause Problem Solving- 2 Days
The ability to solve problems in the work environment is essential for world class businesses. When problems linger, productivity suffers and negatively impacts the value of your products and services. Problem-Cause-Solution (PCS) has been proved to be a great asset in the lean toolbox to solve those more complex problems –particularly those with more than one root cause. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn about PCS. Workshops are kept to small groups to optimise learning whilst real-life case studies support the learning process. To cement learning delegates will have the opportunity to apply the method to a current problem within their experience in the workshop. Both courses are held at Newby Hall in North Yorkshire in small groups led by a field-experience facilitator.

Works Committee & Change - 1Day
